Partnership with Coursera Focuses on AI Skills Development for Teachers and Students in K-12 Schools

San Antonio, TX (ISTELive 25), June 30, 2025 —Today, SchoolDay announced the launch of the SchoolDay Academy, powered by Coursera Plus, offering over 9,000 online courses, including professional certifications, intended for both K-12 teachers and students to further their digital knowledge and skills. Essential to SchoolDay Academy courses are hands-on virtual labs that require learners to demonstrate skill mastery.

SchoolDay Academy courses are delivered on the award-winning Coursera platform, integrated through SchoolDay’s Zero-Trust integration platform for schools. SchoolDay Academy allows for a safe yet dynamic online learning experience. Learners are empowered to explore rich content and share understandings through various assessment models. Along with the lab course component, learners deepen the personal relevancy of their course experience.

“SchoolDay Academy addresses an immediate need in the market today by offering thousands of Gen-AI courses and hands-on certification-based training programs for both K-12 teachers and students”, said Robert Iskander, CEO of SchoolDay. “We are proud of our partnership with Coursera, allowing us to customize their market-leading platform to meet the needs of K-12 teachers and students.”

SchoolDay Academy is available to schools to license as a teacher professional development and continuing education program. Examples of the newly released SchoolDay Academy courses for K-12 teachers include:
