In New York, we first visited CooleyED Conference to meet a selected group of industry leaders and investors at the fourth annual CooleyED Conference on investment opportunities in global education. Networking and hearing from leading global and local companies such as 2U and Kinvolved was truly inspiring for us.
Later we also took part in HolonIQ which is an invitation-only, one-day event designed for leaders, executives and investors shaping the global learning and talent economy. It was great to meet our friends Maria and Patrick at HolonIQ. School Day is extremely proud to be part of, and contribute to this global community of world leaders.
In New Jersey we had meetings with Regional Superintendents who showed lots of interest towards School Day. Concern for student wellbeing is global, and the search for effective tools in teaching students social and emotional skills is on. School Day helps schools identify problems and offers advice on how to approach them for better learning.
We also met with our local partner and friends at Eduscape planning the next steps for the US market. Together we will kick-off the first School Day Scholarship Program Schools in the US in January! Can't wait!
Before our flight back to Finland, there was only one thing to do - root for Finland to the UEFA Euro 2020 finals in a local get-together with Finnish expats and friends. What a historic day!
